Gold leaf came off

Ringed it under cold water just to clean it before use, nearly all the gold decorative leaf came off, havn’t even used it yet.

Spills when poured

Was quite disappointed to find that when we went to pour anything, the liquid would run down the neck of the teapot making a mess every time we used it.

We love the gold design but it is a shame that it rubs off so easily. We went to handwash it and found that it started to peel off.

For the price being charged, you would expect something of high quality and that lasts. Nice for a display item, but reluctant to use regularly.

I am reluctant to use this tea pot as the golden bees have completely disappeared from the matching cup so prefer not to use it. Regardless it’s a beautiful teapot
